Bringing an existing company across.
Most companies that come to us were formed somewhere else. Nothing about that is awkward.

Most clients open a business account online with a Hong Kong fintech provider; we can introduce you to our partners when you ask. Company formation outside Hong Kong, structuring, relocation and visas are handled by our advisory practice, 818HI.
Accounts kept by Certanta, our accounting partner.
Every Hong Kong company must keep accounts, file a profits tax return and, in most cases, be audited each year. That work sits with Certanta, not with us. Their real-time ledger connects to your portal, so the books and the company documents live in one place. They bill you directly and we take no cut on the introduction.
Free document tools.
Some jobs are a single resolution and a signature. Our free document tools draft the routine paperwork a Hong Kong company needs — director appointments and resignations, share transfers, bank mandates, annual resolutions — to the standard we hold our own client files to.
Nothing is uploaded: the document is generated in your browser and downloads as a Word file. Use them whether or not you are a client.
When a tool is not enough
A director change is a resolution, a consent letter, an ND2A filing and a register update, all inside 15 days. The tools draft the paper; we do the whole job for HK$500.
Government fees, where any apply, are charged at cost.
Questions people ask before moving their company.
Do I have to have a company secretary?
Yes. Every Hong Kong company must have a company secretary who is ordinarily resident in Hong Kong, or a body corporate with a registered office there. A sole director cannot also be the company secretary.
What does the annual renewal package cover?
The company secretary, the registered office address, the annual return (NAR1) filing and the Business Registration renewal for the next twelve months. Government fees are charged at cost on top and shown on your invoice before we file.
Can you take over a company incorporated by someone else?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We review the registers, tell you what is missing before you commit, then file the change of secretary and registered office. Where registers have gone stale we rebuild them; if that is more than a tidy-up we quote before starting.
Who keeps track of my deadlines?
We do. The annual return falls due 42 days after the anniversary of incorporation and the Business Registration renewal a month before its expiry. Both sit in your portal with the date visible, and we chase you rather than waiting to be asked.
What is a designated representative and do I need one?
If none of your directors, shareholders or employees is a Hong Kong resident, the law requires a designated representative as the Companies Registry’s point of contact for your Significant Controllers Register. We act in that role at the annual price above.
How long does a change of director or a share transfer take?
A director change is filed within a day or two of the signed resolution; the Companies Registry deadline is 15 days. A share transfer takes longer because the instrument has to be stamped by the Inland Revenue Department, which usually adds a few business days.
Do you handle the accounts and the audit?
Not here. Every Hong Kong company must keep accounts and, in most cases, be audited each year. Our accounting partner Certanta does that work and bills you directly; ask for an introduction and they will send you a monthly plan.
How does support work?
Raise a ticket in your portal or reply to any email we send, and the person who handles your filings replies within one business day, Monday to Friday. When something needs a conversation we arrange a meeting at our Tin Hau office or a video call.
What happens if I want to close the company?
If the company has stopped trading and its affairs are wound up, we handle the deregistration: the Inland Revenue Department’s notice of no objection, the NDR1 application and the Companies Registry gazette process, at the price shown above plus government fees at cost.
