Who our prices are for

Published prices apply to three groups of clients.

The fixed prices on this site are for clients who fall into one of the three groups below. If that is you, you can order everything in the portal without a consultation.

Hong Kong residents

Owner-operators who hold a Hong Kong identity card and live in Hong Kong, such as freelancers, consultants and family businesses.

Freelancers, consultants and small businesses moving from sole proprietor to a limited company. You can be your own designated representative, so nothing extra applies.

Start-ups with Hong Kong-based founders

New ventures whose founding team lives and works in Hong Kong, including founders who have recently moved here on a work, talent or investment visa. Overseas investors are welcome, as long as the founders run the company from Hong Kong.

A clean company, registers in order and a secretary who files on time, so the first investor conversation is not about paperwork you forgot.

Digital nomads

One person who is both the only shareholder and the only director (a single-member, sole-director company), running a location-independent business such as software, design, writing and content, online marketing, consulting or coaching.

Run your Hong Kong company from anywhere. Non-resident owners add a designated representative, which we provide at a published annual fee.

Not in one of these groups?

Everyone else, for example companies whose founders or directors live outside Hong Kong (other than a digital nomad's single-member company), holding or group structures, trading businesses or regulated activities, is served by our advisory practice, 818HI. They will discuss what you need and send you a quotation.

Neither brand takes on a business whose source of funds or goods we cannot verify, including trading settled in cash or crypto, or work connected with sanctioned persons or territories. We decide this before quoting and may not give reasons.

Prices are read live from our price list and apply to new orders placed through the portal. Business Registration renewal is a government fee, currently HK$2,350 a year, and is charged at cost. Non-Hong Kong residents are subject to an annual HK$500 KYC fee on the incorporation package, the registered office address and the annual renewal package.

How it works

Four steps.

Get started

Two minutes on the form below. We send you a sign-in link to your client portal. No password to remember.

Order and verify

Choose incorporation in the portal, pay by card or bank transfer, and upload ID and proof of address for each director and owner. We then meet you at our Tin Hau office or on a short video call to complete verification.

We incorporate

Once your documents pass our checks, we file electronically. The Companies Registry usually issues the certificate within a few business days.

Run it from the portal

Certificates, registers and official mail land in your portal. Renewals and changes are ordered there too, and any question is answered within one business day, Monday to Friday.

In plain terms

Bookkeeping, if you want it

Books kept by Certanta, our accounting partner.

Every Hong Kong company must keep accounts, file a profits tax return and, in most cases, be audited each year. Tick "bookkeeping" when you get started and Certanta will contact you with a monthly plan. Their real-time ledger connects to your portal, so your records and your company documents live in one place.

About Certanta

What that covers Monthly bookkeeping from your bank feeds and receipts, management accounts in the portal, audit arrangement and profits tax return filing, with a human reviewing every entry. Certanta bills you directly; we take no cut on the introduction.
FAQ

Questions people ask before signing up.

Can I use this if I don't live in Hong Kong?

Yes, as a digital nomad: one person who is the only shareholder and the only director, running a location-independent business such as software, design, content, online marketing, consulting or coaching. A Hong Kong company needs no local director or shareholder, but if none of your directors, shareholders or employees is a Hong Kong resident, the law requires a designated representative for the Significant Controllers Register. We provide that at the annual price shown above. Overseas investors are fine in a start-up whose founders are based in Hong Kong. If your company will have more than one founder or director living outside Hong Kong, or a different kind of business, our advisory practice 818HI will talk it through with you and quote.

How long does incorporation take?

Usually three to five business days after your identity documents pass our checks. Electronic filing at the Companies Registry is typically same day or next day, and the certificate arrives in your portal as soon as it is issued.

What do you need from me?

For each director and beneficial owner: a passport or Hong Kong ID and proof of residential address dated within three months. For the company itself: what it will do, where its customers and suppliers are, and who ultimately owns it. As a licensed TCSP we verify both the people and the company before we file, so we also meet you once, in person at our Tin Hau office or on a short video call. Everything else is uploaded in the portal after signing up.

Is HK$6,000 really everything for the first year?

Yes. It includes the Companies Registry incorporation fee, the Business Registration fee and levy for the first year, the company secretary and registered office for twelve months, and the registers and company kit. The only things not in it are optional filings you order later, which are priced on this page, and, for non-Hong Kong residents, the annual HK$500 KYC fee, making it HK$6,500.

What does it cost from year two?

The annual renewal package at the price shown above, plus the Business Registration government fee at cost. Non-Hong Kong residents also pay an annual HK$500 KYC fee. It covers the company secretary, registered office and the annual return filing.

Will you help me open a bank account?

Bank account opening is not part of the fixed-price service. Most of our clients open a business account online with a Hong Kong fintech provider using the documents we deliver to the portal, and we can refer you to our partners Airwallex, Payoneer , PingPong and Aspire. We may receive a commission from a partner if you open an account through these links. See which provider suits which business.

How does support work?

Raise a ticket in your portal, or reply to any email we send you, and a member of the team who actually handles your filings replies within one business day, Monday to Friday. When something needs a conversation, we arrange a meeting at our office or a video call.

Who is LAULEGA?

LAULEGA LIMITED was incorporated in 2016 and is licensed by the Companies Registry as a trust or company service provider, licence TC000573, based in Tin Hau. Its team has been forming and maintaining companies since 2011. laulega.com is our self-serve, fixed-price service; our advisory practice operates as 818HI.

Can I get a refund if you can't proceed?

If our checks mean we cannot act for you, we refund your payment in full, less any government fee already paid on your behalf. If you change your mind before we file, we refund everything except a HK$500 processing fee.

Mail and scanning, once the address is yours

The registered office address is included for the first twelve months with incorporation, and in the annual renewal package after that. Handling the post that arrives at it is charged separately:

  • Government mail — Companies Registry, Inland Revenue and other departments — opened and scanned to your portal, free.
  • Everything else scanned on request at HK$3 a page, and held for three months.
  • Forwarding at postage or courier cost plus 20%; collection in person at Tin Hau is free.
  • An annual HK$800 mail and scanning deposit is held against those charges.
